Final Project & 72h Game Jam

The culmination of the course is a team-based 72-hour Game Jam where you design, develop, and publish a complete original game aligned with an assigned secret theme.

72-Hour Duration

From Friday 18:00 to Monday 18:00. Scoping, rapid iteration, and game feel are critical.

Team Collaboration

Form teams of 1 to 4 students. Interdisciplinary teams combining programmers and artists (FaVU) are encouraged.

Hall of Fame Showcase

All submitted games with student permission are permanently featured in the public Hall of Fame.

Evaluation Rubric & Rules

  • Theme Interpretation: How creatively does the game incorporate the assigned secret theme?
  • Gameplay & Controls: Is the game intuitive, fun, responsive, and free of game-breaking bugs?
  • Audio & Visuals: Originality or cohesive integration of audio effects, music, and art direction.
  • WebGL Delivery: Game must load and run smoothly in modern desktop web browsers.
