Submissions are accepted exclusively through your personal authenticated subdomain. Uploads are verified on the server and deployed directly to WebGL.
Exercise 1: Analysis of Mechanics
Choose an arbitrary commercial or indie video game title and analyze it through the lens of MDA mechanics, player agency, feedback loops, and design choices.
Exercise 2: Unity Environment & WebGL
Setup the Unity 2022.3 LTS editor, configure C# IDE tooling, import the exercise template, build an interactive scene, and export a playable WebGL build.
Exercise 3: User Input & Character Controller
Implement responsive 2D/3D character controllers using the modern Unity Input System, including jump buffering, coyote time, and movement inertia.
Exercise 4: Rigidbodies & Physical Interaction
Build physics-driven gameplay mechanics: mass distributions, physics materials, force impulses, explosive radial forces, and collision triggers.
Exercise 5: Shaders & Visual Effects
Author custom surface shaders and Shader Graph materials: dissolve transitions, rim lighting, vertex displacement, and screen-space post-effects.
Exercise 6: 3D Assets & Level Dressing
Import 3D modular assets, setup texture materials, configure collision hulls, build a structured level layout, and bake lighting maps.
Exercise 7: Animation & Game Juice
Integrate skeletal animations, state machines, particle bursts, screen shake, hit pauses, and audio feedback to polish gameplay feel (Juice).
